Picture
The Healy Family Christmas Card in 1924. Helen Healy is the youngest, at the far end. This photo was taken shortly after Helen and her sister, Eileen, were adopted by Alex and Edith Healy of Worland. With them are their two brothers, Alex, Jr. with the tie, and Dan. Helen remembers Dan teaching her to drive when she was 11. He was 13.

Edith wrote at length about bringing the girls home in Chapter 14 of The Improbable Pioneer.  The chapter is attached in a pdf.
