My grandmother, Edith Sampson Holden Healy, wrote long letters, 3,000+ words was usual, and in that family tradition, my commentary for An Improbable Pioneer also is lengthy. However, many stories from the family history had to be left on the cutting room floor for lack of space.
These blogs enable this information to be published, and Pat IV's ancestry.com site can link to them. This, I assume, will be as helpful to me as research that has been collected in ancestry was for me.
